Aniefiok James Akpan’s passion for human rights was born while witnessing a situation of a “man’s total disrespect and disregard of the right of his fellow man”. He veered into law from his earlier desire to become a scientist.
Apart from using the law as a weapon to curb unfairness, James’ other pastime is engaging in political discussions and searching for more ways to use the law to curb unfairness.
Aniefiok James Akpan holds a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Uyo and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2017. He also holds an ICT certificate on information Technology Security with Palo Alto Networks (An International ICT Company on Information Technology Security).
He is a detail-oriented and dedicated person who thrives in a dynamic environment while adapting to the ever-changing demands of the legal field. He is skillfully proficient in Company and Commercial Law, Property and Conveyance Law and Family Law.
